GENERAL PRACTICE FAQs
Do you accept insurance?
We work with most insurance plans and are happy to help you understand your benefits. Even if we’re out of network, many patients are surprised at how straightforward the reimbursement can be, and our team will walk you through what to expect.
What if the practice is out of network with my insurance?
Being out of network simply means we are able to recommend the care that’s best for you without being limited by insurance contracts. Many patients still choose us because they value the quality, experience, and long-term results.
Do you offer payment plans or financing?
Yes. We offer flexible financing options to make treatment accessible and predictable. Our team can review your budget, the timeline of your treatment, and the best way to break payments into manageable monthly options.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit focuses on understanding your goals, reviewing your health history, and taking any necessary imaging. We make this appointment comfortable, conversational, and unhurried so you leave with clarity about your oral health and next steps.
How soon can I schedule an appointment?
We do our best to schedule patients as promptly as possible based on the type of visit. If you’re experiencing discomfort or have an urgent concern, we do our best to bring you in the same day.
CLEAR ALIGNERS / ORTHO
How long does Clear Aligner really take?
Most clear aligner cases take 6–18 months, depending on your goals and how consistently you wear the aligners. Some minor corrections can move even faster.
Are clear aligners painful?
You may feel pressure for a day or two when switching to a new tray, but discomfort is minimal. Most patients find aligners easier and more comfortable than traditional braces.
Do I need attachments for Clear Aligner?
Many patients do. Attachments help guide tooth movement more precisely and are tooth-colored, so they’re barely noticeable.
Can I whiten my teeth while using Clear Aligner?
Yes. In many cases, your aligners can act as whitening trays. We can guide you on the best products to use.
SLEEP / AIRWAY
Is snoring normal?
Occasional snoring is common, but consistent snoring can be a sign of a breathing issue. An evaluation helps us understand what’s happening and whether treatment can improve your sleep.
Can a dentist help with sleep apnea?
Yes. Dentists trained in airway therapy can create custom oral appliances that help open the airway and improve breathing during sleep. These are often used when patients cannot tolerate CPAP.
How do I know if my child has an airway issue?
Mouth breathing, snoring, restless sleep, and behavior changes can all be signs. A pediatric airway evaluation gives us a clearer picture of what’s going on.
SEDATION
What sedation options do you offer?
We offer a range of options such as nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and IV sedation depending on your needs. Sedation can make longer appointments more comfortable and reduce anxiety.
Is sedation dentistry safe?
When administered by trained professionals, sedation is extremely safe. We review your medical history and tailor your sedation level for a relaxed, monitored experience.
