A Functional Approach to Facial Health
Most practices offer EMFACE® as a cosmetic treatment, but at Elevate Airway TMJ Sleep we see it differently.
What Is EMFACE?
EMFACE is a non-invasive treatment that combines two advanced technologies in a single procedure.
As a practice dedicated to airway health, sleep-disordered breathing, TMJ disorders, and whole-body wellness, we understand that healthy facial muscles do more than support appearance. They play an important role in breathing, jaw function, facial stability, and long-term health.
EMFACE allows us to support the facial muscles and those under the chin as part of a comprehensive treatment approach. While many patients enjoy smoother skin and a more youthful appearance, our primary goal is to improve function, enhance facial support, and help patients feel healthier and more confident.
Radiofrequency (RF)
Gentle radio frequency energy warms targeted tissues, stimulating your body’s natural production of collagen and elastin. This helps improve skin quality, firmness, and tissue support.
High-Intensity Facial Electrical Stimulation (HIFES™)
HIFES technology delivers thousands of precise muscle contractions that strengthen and tone facial muscles that naturally weaken with age.
By treating both the skin and the underlying muscles, EMFACE addresses two important components of facial health and aging.
EMFACE for TMJ Disorders
The muscles of the face and jaw work together every time you speak, chew, swallow, and breathe. When these muscles become overworked, imbalanced, or weakened, they can contribute to jaw discomfort and poor function.
As part of a personalized TMJ treatment plan, EMFACE may help support:
- Improved facial muscle tone
- Better muscular balance
- Enhanced structural support
- Reduced strain on surrounding tissues
- Improved comfort during everyday function
While EMFACE is not a standalone cure for TMJ disorders, it may be a valuable addition to a comprehensive treatment program designed to restore healthy jaw function.
EMFACE for Sleep Apnea & Airway Health
Healthy facial and neck muscles help support the structures involved in breathing.
For adults with obstructive sleep apnea or other airway concerns, improving muscle tone beneath the chin and throughout the lower face may complement other airway-focused therapies by helping support the soft tissues that influence airway stability.
Because every patient is different, EMFACE is used as part of a comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment plan. It is not intended to replace established treatments such as oral appliance therapy or CPAP when those therapies are medically indicated.
Our philosophy is simple. Stronger, healthier facial muscles may contribute to better function, improved facial support, and overall airway wellness.
A Natural Alternative to Cosmetic Procedures
Although our focus is function first, many patients notice visible improvements after treatment, including:
- A naturally lifted appearance
- Improved jawline definition
- Firmer skin beneath the chin
- Reduced appearance of fine lines
- Better facial symmetry
- A refreshed, well-rested look
Because EMFACE works by stimulating your body’s own muscles and collagen production, results develop gradually and maintain a natural appearance without needles, surgery, or downtime.
What to Expect During Treatment
EMFACE treatments are comfortable and performed in our office.
During your appointment, applicators are placed on the face and beneath the chin. You’ll feel a warming sensation along with gentle muscle contractions as the technology works to strengthen facial muscles while stimulating collagen production.
Most appointments take approximately 20 minutes, and there is no required downtime. Patients can return to normal daily activities immediately after treatment.
For optimal results, a series of treatments is typically recommended based on your individual needs.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
EMFACE may be an excellent option for adults who:
- Experience TMJ discomfort or jaw muscle fatigue
- Are receiving treatment for sleep apnea or airway-related concerns
- Want to improve facial muscle tone
- Notice loss of facial definition with age
- Prefer a non-surgical, needle-free treatment
- Want natural-looking facial rejuvenation
- Value a wellness-focused approach to healthy aging
During your consultation, we’ll determine whether EMFACE is appropriate for your individual goals and how it may fit into your overall treatment plan.
Why Choose Elevate Airway TMJ Sleep?
At Elevate Airway TMJ Sleep, we don’t simply focus on appearances. We focus on health.
Our expertise in airway health, TMJ disorders, sleep apnea, and facial development allows us to view facial muscles through a functional lens. Every recommendation is based on improving how your face, jaw, and airway work together, not simply how they look.
The cosmetic benefits of EMFACE are a welcome bonus. Our true goal is helping you breathe better, function better, and feel your best.

Meet Dr. Stamm
You don’t come to Dr. Stamm because you’re looking for a quick fix.
Patients often find their way here after something hasn’t quite added up, persistent jaw discomfort, breathing or sleep concerns, or a sense that symptoms are being treated without understanding the full picture.
Dr. Stamm takes a step back. She looks at how the airway, jaw, bite, and overall function work together before recommending anything. Her approach is thoughtful, thorough, and grounded in the belief that better outcomes start with better questions.
What patients appreciate most is that she takes the time to explain why something may be happening, not just what to do next.
